Starclan_ebooks

Hello friends!  I just thought i'd share some fun with all of you.  I don't know how many of you have read the Warriors series by Erin Hunter when you were younger, or if you are reading them now, etc. etc. but my friend and I are collaborating to bring you..

Starclan_ebooks!  It's a twitter where she finds funny quotes or just general hilarious out of context things to post from the warrior books, and i illustrate them!  I am still in the process of figuring out if i should create a twitter for the illustrations or make a tumblr blog for them or what.  When i figure that out i'll post a link to wherever it may lead to.

For now here are some illustrations i have made over the weekend:

If you want to see more go follow starclan_ebooks on twitter!

ALSO it's finals week at school!  I am so excited for winter break.  I'll have time to draw a whole bunch again.  Hope everyone's having a wonderful week!

A boy and his flashlight - Work in progress

This is something for my english project, im doing a powerpoint about animation and a lot of people told me i should do some animations for the project!  So here is a work in progress of one of them.

P.S. here is my Portfolio

It doesn't have every single figure drawing i've done in it, but you get the gist of it.  There were a few more things in the supplemental section too which are not shown here either but they aren't important.

But here it is!  Tried my best with what i have available to me!

Lots of Updates

Hello friends!  I am here!  Happy December to you all, it's finally time to break out those holiday decorations and play holiday music!

November 12th was a very special day for me.  It was the day i became a legal adult.  That's right!  I am now a 5'1 18 year old.  It's very interesting, i don't feel like an adult.  No one believes me that i'm 18, i still look like i'm 12.  Oh well it's chill.

Everything was sent out to Calarts!  I am officially done with my portfolio and college apps for all the other colleges i applied to as well.  I was already accepted into ASU!  Which i do not care for because they do not offer a good art program, or an animation program for that matter.  It's just a back up.  Besides, i want out of this state asap.  It's too hot and i am pretty much done living here.  But yes, now begins the long wait and anticipation for an answer from Calarts.  I'm so nervous, i don't know what to expect.  The odds are probably not in my favor but you know, i had to go for it.

AND NOW FOR YOUR  VIEWING PLEASURE I BRING YOU SOME SKETCHBOOK PAGES FROM THE SKETCHBOOK I SENT TO CALARTS:

I am going to be very busy this month, with school since finals are in 2 weeks or so.  And lets just say my grades are a little less than perfect in a certain Econ class. Maybe one day i will get a chance to actually finish a drawing.

Hope everyone is doing well, see you all soon!

A landscape + instagram

This is a landscape drawing i did for my portfolio but it didn't quite work out.  I'm thinking i might just send this with my sketchbooks.

I have an instagram!  I post mostly food.. my dog.. and my art!  Art art art.

This is my online profile for instagram if any of you are interested

It'd be cool to see some of your instagrams too!  Happy Saturday everyone!

Blind Contour

Did this a while ago while practicing blind contours.  Out of all the blind contours i did i thought this was the most visually appealing!

However, my scanner does not enjoy the color yellow so much.

The Littlest Wolf

Character Model sheets:

Chub (student 1)

Darla (student 2)

The Coach

Scanners are my worst enemy.  But here are the character model sheets for a project i'm working on called The Littlest Wolf!  These are going in my portfolio, along with a storyboard i made for this story.

Nearly done!  I'm going to try to get my portfolio and sketchbooks sent by Friday.  Finally

Happy November everyone!
