Also i went to SDCC!! It was a blast i met so many wonderful artists and spent all my money on art books and prints from everyone. I also so Misha Collins! How rad is that? Here's my haul from the con
So many art books so little time! Honestly my favorite book i got from the con was Stephen Silver's Passion for Life book. His life drawings are incredible i could look at that book all day! Speaking of Stephen Silver, here i am with him:
He talked to me for a while about art and signed the book i bought from him. And then i talked to David Coleman and he drew an owl in the book i bought from him! That was so neat. I met Chris Sanders as well, and i made a fool of myself in front of him i got so nervous and flustered but it was so cool to meet him! I went to Brittney Lee's booth but she wasn't there and i was totally bummed but i still got a print from her. I was so nervous i didn't go up to Cory Loftis and i really really wanted to haha i get so nervous around these amazing people. Also saw Stan Lee, that was pretty neat. So many famous people so many amazing artists it was crazy. I had so much fun i hope i can go again next year!!
i've been painting and drawing for the whole day and got a bit tired, so i decided to look some sketches up - that usually motivates me. after a while i googled silver's work 'cause i really like it and found your blog. your work really inspired me, love the characters and the movement you put into them. congrats on the excellent art, keep up the good work! i'll be watching :)
