Disneyland

Hello everyone, happy Monday!  Tomorrow is a big day, it's the day my mom, sister, and I drive out to California to go to look at Calarts, Woodbury University, and one other college that i don't know the name of.  But after that we get to go to Disneyland for two days with my best friend Anna!  What's better, I get to take her home with me for a week afterwards.  So I may not be posting anything for a week.  But i'll be drawing.  I have plans to draw in downtown Disney, and hopefully some in the park.  The people in Disneyland are so fascinating and unique in their own way I can't wait to sketch them.

The bad news is that i have to register for my last year of high school next week.  It's frightening, i'm a senior with the look of a 10 year old.  How embarrassing.  But I'm really excited for Creative Writing and my Art AP class this year!  I always love the art classes.
Here's a drawing before i go:

Drawn from the poses on Posebook, the app on iphone/ipad by Stephen Silver!

So long for now :)

Scalemate

This little fella is completely hand sewn and took about 10 hours to complete.  He can fit in the palm of your hand he's so small!  I normally make larger plushes of these but i thought it'd be fun to make something mini.  It is also a gift for my friend, I am making another one for her as well but i haven't started it yet.

Plus oldies

I forgot to upload these earlier!  These were some art block breaking pictures.  Enjoy

Cowboys and a Ballerina

Just reuploading the cowboy designs :)

Vail, CO cafe and parade sketches

The girl in the wedding dress is drawn from a photo on artsyposes.com.  These aren't the best but i'll keep practicing!

Pirates and bears

Ladies and gentlemen I have done it.  I hooked up my old Scanner from 2009.  I found the installation disk and now I can show you all my pictures in nice quality!  Without further ado, here are the first few pages i have scanned.  Pirates and bears!

Quick little pencil animation

I drew this in early april but finally put them all together today!  This took about 53 frames total i believe.  Each frame was drawn next to each other, so that's why it's sort of choppy looking.

Also youtube screwed up the timing a little but not too bad.  Enjoy :)

Happy 4th of July!

Today was a fairly nice day to say the least.  I got a few good people-watching sketches while a parade was going on here as well as some other cafe sketches these past few days, but I have been on a major art block for about 2 weeks now.  I just broke it today!  It feels amazing to be able to draw and be proud of my work again.  However i am still unable to post any of my artwork, but i just wanted to wish you all a happy 4th!  Hopefully there will be fireworks where you are, because they have been banned here in Colorado.  What a bummer, but it's fine, they don't need any more fires!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYONE! <3
